Reasons and Solutions for Leakage of Plate and Frame Filter Press

After the plate and frame filter press has been used for a period of time, it will run out of material. This problem is often encountered in many sand washing production lines. If this problem occurs, it will greatly harm the actual effect of the filter press for sludge. Therefore, it is necessary to deal with problems as soon as possible to prevent harm.
The root cause of the plate and frame filter press running:
1、 The filter cloth has been used for a long time without paying attention to the cleaning. The raw materials are left on the top and the filter holes are blocked, which causes the filter cloth not to filter, and the material will escape. Sometimes incorrect placement of filter cloth may also cause material leakage. There are many reasons why the filter chamber of the membrane filter press cannot be sealed. Close around the filter chamber and check whether the filter cloth has wrinkles or incomplete edges. Because the structure of the filter chamber is formed by the mutual cutting of filter plate and filter cloth of the filter press, which suffers from strong working pressure.
2、 Generally, the diaphragm filter press has been used for some time or often works under continuous high temperature. The filter plate of the filter press is very easy to deform, resulting in slight unevenness, which may also lead to material loss.
3、 Under continuous high temperature, the deformation of the braided hose or the loose clamp of the braided hose may also lead to material leakage. Therefore, if the braided hose is deformed, it shall be removed and replaced immediately.
4、 Insufficient clamping working pressure or excessive working pressure may also cause material leakage. Customers often feel that the diaphragm filter press.
5、 Many customers gradually fail to understand. They fix all the four legs of the membrane filter press. When the working pressure is high, the sound card frame is very easy to deform. The sound card frame is deformed. The filter plate of the filter press is not flat, and the filter chamber is not shaped into a closed space, which may also lead to material leakage.
The idea that the higher the working pressure of the pump is, the faster the filtration rate will be. This is wrong. Only when the filter plate and filter cloth are subjected to strong working pressure can the closed filter chamber be constructed. When this working pressure is not enough, it will increase until the working pressure of the filter plate of the filter press is lower than the burden of the filter liquid. Of course, the filter liquid can also naturally seep out of the gap.
